now that a few people have taken a leap of faith into the sarina collections, i feel like its only right to reward that spirit by laying out my plans for the series into the near future. i won't make any commitments beyond what's spelled out here at this time. i'll still need to give that more thought after i've completed the tasks outlined in this note. i still have quite a bit of work to do :)\par

first off i'm not a financier, i'm an artist. there are many projects with detailed prospectuses and sales teams and public relations teams but lacking in originality and/or compelling artistic identity. here you have pretty much the opposite. strong, provocative, unique imagery, but if you think i'm going to be calculating compound interest for my upcoming ordinal mortgage program. lol ~ that's not going to happen.\par
that statement is certainly not intended to denigrate any other project's efforts or even to assess their merits. i simply want the reader to grasp a realistic understanding of the potential assets of this project.\par
to that end, if you look at these collections as a financial instruments, you should possess confidence in your own ability to assess the potential value and future viability of a bitcoin ordinals collection. that's not my area of expertise. and once the project has become exhausted artistically, it might be up to holders themselves to come together & draw upon their own financial creativity to take it to 'another level.' if that's where you desire it should go. \par

when ordinals suddenly flashed onto the radar, everyone was in a race to get something together quickly. in a situation like that people instinctively reflex toward their most confident resources, draw upon their most trusted talents, use 'the force!' (lol) to get something gathered together quickly and try put their best foot forward. so that's what i did. \par
i had commissioned the photo shoots that make up the base of this series back in 2012. from that engagement i received raw images and completed the coloring, cropping and edits myself. Their only permanent public display can be seen in the few images used in the album artwork pictured in the vinyl sarina series. \par
and while the model & photographer were paid up front for their work, until very recently (!) i had not profited from them. despite rather obsessively creating far more edits than could possibly have been used at the time. lol ~ the images have basically been hibernating on thumb drives.\par
there were only about 250 copies produced of the two variations of that vinyl record. and though i was very pleased with the final product and they did sell out, the proceeds from those sales never made much of a dent in the costs of its elaborate production. but hey, that's not really what drives an artist to create. :) \par
i enjoy getting paid, but i always just end up spending it all on the next 'big idea' anyway. ~ so you can take satisfaction (or not, lol) in the knowledge that anything you put into these initial sarina offerings will end up at least in part, financing some yet to be conceived artistic endeavor.\f3\lang9\par

i'm currently finishing up an all new sarina collection which i think is pretty spectacular. its definitely different from what i've released to date. it is also a larger collection and with much more variation of imagery within, than in previous releases. it will be approximately 130 unique pieces ~ give or take. \par
this new series is to be randomly distributed once the smokin' sarina & warhol sarina, 1st & gold edition collections have sold out. i will announce a snapshot date and then drop to all wallets holding those collections, plus any holders of vinyl sarina. (although a sell out of that series is not a requirement of the drop) \par
additionally, holders of 1st edition smokin' sarinas will receive 2 inscriptions from the new collection per ord held and any wallets with vinyl sarina would receive 3. credit will be given for each ordinal held, not just per wallet. - i will contact one of the market places about auctioning off whatever remains.\par

its certainly possible it may take awhile for these collections to sell out, however i'm confident that they will. If nothing else, i expect the early ordinal floor will rise beyond their current price points in time. but hopefully laying out this schedule and continued exposure, now in all major marketplaces, will help build awareness.\par
however, now that sales have been registered, i will not devalue those purchases by altering the current btc pricing. and people will know that if you hold a sarina, you paid for the privilege. posh is as posh does. :)\lang9\par

there will be an additional drop for holders of 1st edition smokin' & warhol sarina collections upon the sell out of those individual sets. i recently discovered higher resolution source files that were not available to me when I inscribed the original collections. and i will be dropping one-to-one inscriptions to holders of those collections. e.g. if you have smokin' sarina #5, then you'll get the new smokin' sarina #5. of course, you won't actually have #5, because i kept it for myself!\par
these images are really sweet, and are around 2/3rds larger and twice the resolution of the current images. warhol sarina holders especially should be pleased with the enhanced detail. there may be a few additional inscriptions within these collections as well. ~ these are also the source files being used for the upcoming collection that i'm currently working on..\par

as for trans action sarina ~ the sarina currency~ upon sell out, a new series will be issued and distributed to holders of 2 or more at a rate of 1 per 2 held. the remaining series 2 inscriptions will be dropped to sarina gold edition holders in order of collection # until supply is exhausted. so first, smokin' sarina gold 1 through 12, then warhol gold 1 through 29. \par
trans action sarina was envisioned as a bitcoin ordinal currency alternative. hence the more sedate nature of the collection and use of serial numbers rather than simple numbering. the idea being that all pieces would remain relatively close to its floor price. ~ although, in the tradition of physical minting, there is one error in the collection that i will leave for others to discover. its an issue that was inadvertently saved to the origin file and so will persist into any future issuances.\par

as an artist i really love exposing my concepts and imagery, i love provoking thought and stimulating imagination, but i don't really feel a need to have 'fans.' i'm always hopeful there will be individuals who find enjoyment & stimulation from my efforts, but i'm not leading a movement and i'm not looking to sit atop one. ~ i'm presenting my interpretations of my experiences and attempting to communicate ideas and thoughts for which i have no words.\par
the majority of my artistic efforts have been put toward music, sound & audio. i'm a bit of a loner at heart, not because i feel like an outcast or above or below some conception of community. simply because its my nature. its a place i feel comfortable. i'm not competing with anyone artistically, i'm trying to discover and exploit my abilities as an individual. I really like committing art to the blockchain because it seems to extend so much longer that ability for a work to be located by that individual out there who is searching for or somehow inspired by its display.\par
so don't look for me to build a dedicated discord server or delve into discussions about return on investment or ordinal portfolio theory. that's really for someone else to do, if for some reason they are so moved. \par
in all honesty, i get more of a thrill from provoking imagination than daydreams of 'generational wealth,' but that doesn't mean i don't wish much good fortune and satisfaction to anyone who chooses to own one of these pieces. because i really do!!\par

\f5 the sudden appearance of ordinals afforded a few unknowns like myself a rare opportunity to slip through the cracks and grasp a few straws of (likely very long) lasting notoriety. the race to inscribe under 100k was truly a modern land rush. the opportunity to secure an un-permissioned display in a coveted permanent gallery; with the freedom to present myself and my work in a manner in which i saw fit in the moment. and it was only a brief moment.\par
i'm really grateful.\par
i had thought about this series and releasing nfts of it several times, but always the problem persisted of how to be seen beyond the mirages of the professional promotion factories. i didn't want to simply seal good work into a bottle and drop it in the midst of an ocean.\par
so for someone like myself, initiating a series anchored securely within the ordinals sub100k museum is a really fabulous opportunity to present my work to a large and maybe ever expanding audience and for a long time to come.. \par
to that end, and for those of you who enjoy the effort, just know that its my sincere hope and desire for you that delving into the sarina series is an enjoyable experience. and also know that my best work is always just over the horizon! \par
